Artist Statement

My work investigates relationships between layers of spontaneous material application, spontaneous pattern building, and line. I use various inks, pigments, papers, paint, and polycrylic to build systems that interact physically and visually. Drawing inspiration from atomic systems and the seemingly infinite relationships they take part in, I utilize imagery that could represent the outcome of any of these relationships.
